Important Information:

This is a unique Seattle Preschool Program location as it’s an American Sign Language (ASL)/English bilingual classroom. Instruction is provided in ASL and the classrooms are led by Deaf teachers. This classroom is intended for Deaf and hard of hearing children, those with Deaf family members and those whose families are dedicated to ASL, Deaf Culture and Bilingual Deaf Education. This classroom welcomes students with no prior experience in ASL whose families are committed to using ASL in the home.

  • SPP requires proof of your child’s birthdate, proof of address, and proof of income upon enrollment to determine eligibility and if your family will or will not owe tuition.
  • SPP generally follows the Seattle Public Schools calendar, including breaks and closures, and runs for 180 days from September to June. You may find the school calendar by visiting the Seattle Public Schools website.
  • SPP children typically attend preschool at least 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Flexible schedules, such as part-day or 3 days per week, are not an option.
  • Transportation may be provided to this location through the Seattle Public Schools district for students with IEP's (Individual Education Plans).
  • Interested in a tour? Please contact the school directly for more information.
