Attending SPP at Launch Leschi does not guarantee your child will attend Leschi elementary for kindergarten. For more information on kindergarten, please see the Seattle Public Schools’ website.
SPP at Launch-Leschi follows the Seattle Public School calendar, including breaks and closures, and runs for 180 days from September to June. You may find the school calendar by going to the Seattle Public Schools website.
SPP children typically attend preschool at least 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Flexible schedules, such as part-day or 3 days per week, are not an option.
SPP does not offer transportation. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to bring the child to school and to pick up on time.
Any cost for extended day, is determined by the provider and is separate from SPP. Methods of payment for extended day include private pay, DSHS Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) voucher, or City of Seattle Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) subsidy.
